In 1901, a group of Christians led by the late Doc. Kerley met and organized the Ebenezer Baptist Church in Hutto , Texas. In February, 1922 the trustees of Ebenezer Baptist were instrumental in planning Kerley Junior High School. These trustees were: Lee Watson, B. Kerley, Wesley Ray, L. Brooks, I. Fresh, and Bart Harrison.
For many years Ebenezer Baptist Church was led by Rev. C.J. McClain until his death in 1968. In 1969 Ebenezer Baptist Church merged with Little Bethel Baptist Church which was led by Rev. Edward Mercer, Pastor. He was followed by Rev. Cecil H. Young and the newly merged congregation was then named Little Ebenezer Baptist Church.
Over the years, Little Ebenezer Baptist Church moved forward under the leadership of inspired ministers and deacons. Among these were Rev. Van Powell, Deacon Jesse Riggins, Deacon Jim Crayton, and Deacon Roy Jacobs.
After the death of Deacon Roy Jacobs in June, 1988 the Church doors were closed for almost one year. Bro. Jim Cage Sr. through hard work, love, and dedication maintained the church in the absence of a pastor.
In 1989 Little Ebenezer Baptist Church reopened its doors under the leadership of Rev. Raymond Fennell. Pastor Fennell served from 1989 to 1991 and during this period Bro. Jim Cage Sr. was ordained as a Deacon.
Rev. Richard Coaxum was called to Pastor Little Ebenezer Baptist Church from 1991 to 1994. The Church flourished spiritually and in number. While under leadership of Pastor Coaxum Bruce Jacobs, the son of late deacon Roy Jacobs, was ordained as deacon.
In 1994 Rev. Isiah Brown was called to be interim pastor and later became pastor April, 1995. Under his leadership the church grew spiritually, financially, and in number. Pastor Brown was a spiritual preacher, leader, and teacher. He taught LEBC how to apply God’s Word in our lives, love one another, to assist those in need, and most of all to love GOD. Pastor Brown served well until God called him home, July 2007.
April 21, 2008 Rev. Fred B. Warren Jr. was called to pastor LEBC. God is preparing LEBC for continued work in our great Hutto community and in the body of Christ.

Rev. Fred B. Warren Jr.,
was born in Conway S.C . to Fred and Maxine B. Warren. He was raised in a strong Christian family.
Pastor Warren accepted the call to the ministry in Jan 1, 1996, at Peaceful St. James Baptist Church and was later ordained by his pastor, Rev. Dr. John T. Townsend.
